NEMO is a french group playing progressive rock, born in 2000 from the meeting of Jean-Pierre Louveton (guitars/vocals), Guillaume Fontaine (keyboard) and Pascal Bertrand (Drums, Percussions).

In 2001, Benoit Gaignon comes to join them and the band begins to record their first album in August. 2003 is a very important year for Nemo; the second album Présages has good criticism in the press and specialised webzines. So that their titles are broadcasted in Spain, Argentina, Quebec and Florida, and the group participates to the Crescendo Festival (France) together with the famous Änglagard & Pinneaple Thief.

After their participation to the Progsud 2004, NEMO goes back to the studios. In September, a single from 4 titles Eve et le Génie du Malcomes before the future opus. This one –including an English version of “L’Oeil du Cyclone” (Présages) – can be heard on the radio, even outside the Hexagon. In 2005, the group gives several concerts without Benoît Gaignon, soon replaced by Lionel Guichard, and records his live album Immersion Publique (come out in October).
